Last month, our International Sales Manager, Tim Shaw, travelled stateside to attend the 2024 International Builders’ Show (IBS).

With a passion to partner with ambitious companies all over the world, Tim flew to Las Vegas to meet prospective customers at the largest annual light construction show in the world.

The event took place during the last week of February and created a fantastic opportunity for Tim to network and meet with like-minded professionals within the residential construction industry.

As International Sales Manager, Tim is responsible for developing relationships with all our international partners. Not wanting to waste a minute while overseas, Tim also spent time visiting a number of our existing customers to check in and identify how we can best support them with their latest ventures.

Describing his latest trip to the USA, Tim said: “As a business that works all over the world, we don’t regularly see our customers face-to-face, but when we do it is incredibly valuable. Whenever we’re travelling overseas, we always try to arrange as many in-person meetings as possible. With IBS taking place in Las Vegas it made sense to meet with our customers located close by.

There’s nothing better than visiting our customers’ facilities and sitting down with them to understand their key priorities and how we can continue to support them. All in all, it was a massively productive week, and I can’t wait for my next trip abroad.”

As we are a global company that supplies bi-fold hardware to 16 countries, Tim also has plans to travel to Canada over the next few months to visit even more of our customers.
